Harold Maybaum, 84 of North Kingstown RI formerly of Poughkeepsie NY, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 3, 2023.


He was the beloved husband of CarolAnn (Bellacicco). Together they enjoyed 44 wonderful years of marriage.


Harold was born in the Bronx, NY to Isadore and Ceil Maybaum. His family then moved to Long Island where Harold and his brothers were raised. Once he graduated high school, Harold attended NYU to pursue his degree and graduated in 1960. He then entered the US Army National Guard, and served his country from 1960-1966. Shortly after his service, he began working for Countess Mara where he filled his 27 year career traveling for the company and making lifelong friendships.


Harold was a loving father to Scott (Ronda) Maybaum, Greg (Marcy) Maybaum, Laura (Bryan) Gore, and Eric Maybaum. He was also a loving grandfather to Amanda, Evan, Kyle, Trevor, Brandon, Sydney, Chelsea, Jillian, Jack, and Ella; and a proud great-grandfather to Carter, Mabry, Nellie, and Barrett.


Harold enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He most enjoyed summers in RI clamming, landscaping, reading and traveling throughout the world with CarolAnn.


Harold is survived by his wife CarolAnn , his four children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother Paul and wife Ellen, his father-in-law Leonard Bellacicco, his sister-in-laws Roseanne Maybaum, Noreen (Lenny) Centonze, brother-in-laws John (Kathy) Bellacicco and Rob (Anna) Bellacicco, as well as and many nieces and nephews.Harold was predeceased by his parents Isadore and Ceil Maybaum and brothers Milton and Jay Maybaum.


CarolAnn would like to thank Beacon Hospice of North Kingstown RI for the compassionate care given to Harold.


Memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Hospital for Children’s Cancer Research in his honor .


A graveside will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, 1:30 pm at Mount Ararat Cemetery, Lindenhurst, NY.  Please gather at cemetery office.  Arrangements under the supervision of Kleinberg Funeral Services 516-400-5580.
