Judith Amalfitano passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 21, 2023 at age 88. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Judy was born March 23rd, 1935 to parents Antoinette and Arthur Fanelli. She is survived by her daughter Debi and her husband, Dominic Mucci, Judy Lobo, and James Amalfitano, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister Nancy Fanelli, and former spouse and dear friend, James Amalfitano.
Judy filled a room with her laugher, smile, and love for her family. Her kitchen table was always filled with pasta and her famous meatballs. You could find her in the kitchen listening to the Mama Mia soundtrack on any given day. In the summers you could find her ocean or pool side enjoying the weather with a refreshing beverage. As a grandmother of many she never missed a graduation, concert, sporting event or life milestone and was her family’s biggest cheerleader. Judy leaves a lifetime of memories, stories and a large legacy behind.
