Mark Tannenbaum died peacefully at his home in Island Park, New York on April 18, 2025; he was 76.  

He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Michele Kivolowitz, daughter Lauren Tannenbaum Whittaker and her husband Christopher Whittaker, step-daughters Shanon McKenna and her partner David Keil and Kerri Kivolowitz, and step son-in-law Shobhit Chugh.  Grandchildren Magdalena and Tristan McKenna, Simran and Benjamin Chugh, Tyler and Connor Whittaker, and Tobias Keil. Sister Gwenn Canfield, nephews and nieces-in law Kenny and Dina Canfield, and Jeff and Daniela Canfield, and brand new great niece Lizzy.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother Frances, father Eugene, and younger brother Hal.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Kleinberg Funeral Services, 3930 Long Beach Rd., Island Park, NY.  A memorial service will commence at 2:00 pm officiated by Rabbi Charles Rudansky.
