The staff at Kleinberg Funeral Services will gladly assist you with duplicating an existing monument. This process takes several months so, we strongly urge you to begin four to six months in advance of the desired unveiling or date of completion.
Here’s the step-by-step process:
- Provide us with the name of the deceased, date of death, and cemetery of the monument to be duplicated.
- We will contact the cemetery for the exact location of the deceased.
- We will send someone to the cemetery to take photos, measurements, and a rubbing of the existing monument to be duplicated.
- We will send you an itemized price quote which includes the purchase of the monument, inscription, setting & delivery, foundation fee, and burial society permit fee, if applicable.
- We will prepare a monument order form for your review and approval.
- We will request a down payment consisting of 50% of the monument price, the monument foundation fee, and society permit, if applicable.
- The balance will be due before delivery and setting of the monument.
- You will be notified once the monument is completed and set.
We strongly urge you not to schedule unveilings prior to notification of monument completion!! Be advised, a concrete foundation must be poured prior to setting the monument. Most cemeteries do not pour foundations when the outside air temperature falls below 60 degrees. Typically, this occurs during the months of late October until May.
