SERVICE PRICING

“How much is a funeral?”

This is the most frequently asked question by callers inquiring about funeral home services. We think most people ask this question because they are unsure how to start a conversation about funeral planning.

At Kleinberg Funeral Services, we recognize your concerns and are here to guide you in making informed decisions. Pricing is only a part of the arrangement process. Let our staff understand your needs so we can present your options, discuss your preferences, and explain our charges and related expenses in a clear and concise manner.

Most funeral homes are reluctant to display their General Price List and Casket Price List online:

  • For fear they are giving away trade secrets.
  • Because they are priced higher than their local competitor[s].
  • That it somehow places them at a disadvantage for ‘price shoppers’.
  • It is not required by the governmental agencies who oversee the funeral industry.

Below you will find our General Price List (GPL) available for download. The Federal Trade Commission [the agency that regulates the nation’s funeral homes] mandates that every funeral home present a General Price List in the following situations: 1) to anyone who requests it in person, including our competitors; and 2) face-to-face prior to discussing funeral arrangements.

Kleinberg Funeral Services believes pricing transparency is the first step to earning your trust and confidence. That is why we posted our General Price List and Casket Price List online. We encourage you to contact us—without obligation—to discuss our General Price List or for a detailed price quote.
